CHALLENGE
One of the largest financing groups in Europe contracts Bao & Partners to recruit professionals at the highest level for one of their branch companies that provides technology services to the banking sector in the group, both in Spain and abroad.

The aim is to equip the group with the best talent in the market and, thus, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the operational and commercial efficiency of its banking network.

The professionals who are finally contracted help the company to equip itself with a unique technological platform in all the countries where the group has a presence. Candidates were profiled as advisers-technicians, with over 10 years experience in wholesale and retail banking.

METHODOLOGY
Following the initial analysis of the largest companies in both national and international technology services in Spain and the competition (national and international banks and savings banks), the decision was made to search for specialized profiles in diverse fields, both in wholesale banking (liquid and fixed assets, capital markets) and in retail banking (commercial systems, risk management, technological architecture, channels, means of payment, etc.) with experience in implementing and developing banking applications. Candidates were required to have both a functional and a technical profile.

RESULT
Our initial evaluation had to be very strict as it was important that the candidates also had the appropriate experience in banking, the capacity to work under pressure in an environment highly orientated towards short term results; we searched for professionals with leadership capacity, a gift for languages and international mobility. To date, 10 recruitments have been made in the group, although the collaboration continues to be ongoing.
