» Evaluating Candidates as Partners for One of the "Big Four":

CHALLENGE
The client, one of the four largest international firms in the auditing and consultancy sector, called on our assistance in evaluating if the candidates for partners in diverse areas had the potential for promotion.

METHODOLOGY
Following a model based on the 68 competencies for success in leadership, the appropriate parameters were selected for the position, in collaboration with the client's Human Resources Department. After interviewing the candidates in terms of the competencies selected, they were evaluated by comparing the reports of each of the contenders.

The methodology used is based on the referential analysis of a universal model of competencies which, in turn, makes it possible to compare the best management profiles tabulated throughout our experience.

RESULTS
After a week of meetings with the candidates and a further two for evaluation, the specialists in our firm met with the client's Human Resources team and with the partners responsible for each area to decide which of the candidates were eligible for promotion.

Once this decision was taken, Bao & Partners coached the candidates who had not been promoted in order to design an improvement plan to allow them to reach their full potential.
